The sailings
depart from and return to Halkolaituri in Pohjoisranta, Helsinki, unless otherwise
informed. For 4-6-hour sailings, please arrive to the port 15 minutes before
the sailing starts our crew will escort you to the ship Astrid or Svanhild. For
longer public sailings we will give event-specific instructions.
TERMS
FOR 4-6-HOUR PUBLIC SAILINGS
When
purchasing a ticket for public sailing, you agree the following terms:
Sailing
tickets are purchased from Helsingin Purjelaivakonttori’s web shop. The purchase transaction is binding. Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
The transaction
of the ticket purchase is binding, and it is not refundable in case of no-show.
Helsingin Purjelaivakonttori
has the right to cancel the sailing in case the minimum amount of passengers is
not fulfilled. In case on cancellation Helsingin Purjelaivakonttori has the
right to postpone the sailing and transfer the existing reservations to the
rescheduled date. In this case, the existing reservations can also be refunded for
the customer.
Force
majeure: Dangerous or predicted to be dangerous weather conditions, damage of
the ship, external factors such as strikes, state of war or emergency or other unusual
circumstances independent of the Helsingin Purjelaivakonttori gives the
Helsingin Purjelaivakonttori the right to cancel the sailing. The confirmed
sailing can be postponed to another date or the paid fees can be refunded.
Helsingin Purjelaivakonttori is not liable for possible additional costs such
as changes or cancellations of further connections, accommodation, schedules,
routes etc. that may occur if the sailing is cancelled for the reasons mentioned
above.
Our crew and/or
possible professional photographer are taking pictures during the sailing. The
pictures are used in Helsingin Purjelaivakonttori’s marketing and communication
channels, please let the crew know if you do not want to be photographed during
the sailing.
Take care
of good hand hygiene when on board. If you are ill or have symptoms of a flu,
please do not participate the sailing.

FOR LONGER SAILINGS AND SUMMER CAMPS
When
purchasing a ticket for public sailing or for summer camp, you agree the
following terms:
Sailing
tickets are purchased from Helsingin Purjelaivakonttori’s web shop. The purchase transaction is binding. Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
All passengers
are responsible for their arriving to the port in time.
Helsingin
Purjelaivakonttiri’s ships have insurance required from passenger ships. However,
all passengers will take care their personal travel and accident insurances.
Purjelaivakonttori
has the right to cancel the sailing in case the minimum amount of passengers is
not fulfilled. In case on cancellation Helsingin Purjelaivakonttori has the
right to postpone the sailing and transfer the existing reservations to the
rescheduled date. In this case, the existing reservations can also be refunded for
the customer.
